We’re delighted to announce the launch of the first-ever Health Promotion & Disease Prevention (HP&DP) Bulletin, a quarterly publication dedicated to strengthening collaboration, learning, and visibility across Uganda’s community health ecosystem.
The HP&DP Bulletin was inspired by the need for a centralized platform to document and share progress, lessons, research, and best practices in community health. This idea was championed by Living Goods as part of our continued commitment to fostering innovation and driving thought leadership in the sector.
A Collaborative Effort for Greater Impact
Produced under the leadership of the Ministry of Health, the bulletin brings together a wide range of community health partners—including Living Goods, UNICEF, WHO, and others. Partners were invited to share their success stories, and those featured in this inaugural issue contributed valuable content that reflects the collective progress being made toward stronger community health systems.
Why This Bulletin Matters
This first-of-its-kind resource represents more than just a publication it’s a platform for collaboration and shared learning. It highlights how community health actors are working together to promote health, prevent disease, and improve outcomes for families and communities across Uganda.
For Living Goods, the bulletin reinforces our commitment to supporting the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders in documenting impact, sharing innovations, and amplifying community health success stories nationwide.
What’s Next
The HP&DP Bulletin will be published quarterly, with the next edition expected in December 2025. Each issue will continue to spotlight partner achievements, evidence-based approaches, and new ideas shaping the future of community health in Uganda.
